London sporting venues - Tower of London ice rink, Natural History Museum ice rink etc.

The Tower of London Ice Rink allows the visitor to ice-skate against the backdrop of the majestic Tower of London. Ice skaters can chill at the ice rink from 10:00am to 10:00pm till January 9th, 2011. Tickets are sold on the basis of hourly sessions (skate hire included), and are divided into Peak Tickets (weekends, all evening sessions from 5:15pm and all day sessions from December 20 to January 1) and Off Peak Tickets (weekday morning and afternoon sessions up to and including the 4:00pm session). The ice rink will be closed on Christmas day.

Natural History Museum Ice Rink is all set to give its visitors a pleasant experience, whether they are skating or watching. A children’s ice rink adjoins the main rink and ice marshals are ever-alert to the needs of the skaters. The ice-marshals can also be hired to learn figure skating during the hour-long sessions from 10:00am to 10:00pm till 9th January, 2010. Those watching their close ones skate can do so while enjoying beverages in the CafĂ© Bar.

Regent’s Park, sprawling over 487 acres of land, provides many recreational facilities. These include tennis and netball courts, football and rugby pitches, an athletics track, a boating lake and three children’s playgrounds. All those who aim at a healthy living frequent this park in north-west London, where one can sweat it out while breathing in fresh air.
